Kodak THERMOFLEX platesetters help turn prepress into a controlled, digital manufacturing process allowing printers and converters to enhance print results, reduce cycle times, and improve process control.

The THERMOFLEX Mid Hybrid platesetter is the ideal choice for printers and tradeshops seeking high-quality print results on a wide variety of substrates. It provides the flexibility to image offset plates, flexographic and letterpress plates, and film - all in one device. Operators can easily load any plate size up to the maximum 1,106 x 1,200 mm (40 x 47.24 in.) for flexo, and 1,000 x 1,200 mm (39 x 47.24 in.) for offset plates, and have the option of imaging multiple plates in one pass.

Productivity has been improved with a new loading architecture and a simplified user interface. The air-assisted loading table makes it easier for operators to load and unload plates, saving time and improving efficiency. New TIFF Front End software optimizes layouts, allowing operators to improve quality control and minimize plate waste.

KODAK HYPERFLEX Ready imaging technology allows platemakers to control relief depth and dot profiles, enabling more consistent presswork and improved print quality, particularly in the highlights.
