RAPID IMAGING (RI) 505 Digital Washer
505 DW (Digital Washer) represents the state-of-the-art of the washer units for flexo plates in large format 52 x 80 in (132 x 203 cm). The unit works with any kind of plate and is equipped with a particular systems to process the digital plates. The 505 DW has two separate tanks for the solvent. One, which is dedicated to the pre-washer, collects the solvent used to remove the layer of the digital plate.The other tank is for the washing section and is used only with non-contaminated solvent. The efficiency of the brush movement allows high speed in processing time and a perfect result of the plate.

Advantages
Pre-washer section, to remove the layer of the digital plate.
The solvent used during the pre-washer section is collected into a dedicated tank separate from the tank with the solvent for the process which results are always clean and non-contaminated by residue of layer and/or carbon.
Rotating and cylindrical brushes with oscillating movement in opposing directions.
The opposition of this particular movement of the brushes reduces the processing time and eliminates any kind of movement of the plate itself when in contact with the brushes. This ensures a perfect and stable position of the plate, thus optimizing the mechanical action of the brushes and making the whole process reach a higher speed.
Automatic lift-up of the brushes when the machine is stopped or in stand-by mode.
This mechanism, which is completely automatic, allows to keep the brushes lifted up from the base of the processing area avoiding any damage on the brushes themselves during the non-use of the machine. Brushes receive fresh solvent before any cycle, so that when they start working they are completely wet.
Integrated solvent density meter in the unit's hydraulic circuit.
This device measures the percentage of polymer present in the washing solvent, topping it off with fresh solvent when the values exceed the setup values. As a result the machine always works with clean solvent, thereby obtaining greater accuracy in the process, producing an excellent result.
